How the ranking works
TibiaServers ranks Open Tibia servers by one number first: how many players are online right now. That is the hardest number to fake over time and the one that matters most when you pick a server to play on.
Where the numbers come from
- otservlist.org: the oldest OTS list; players online, uptime, version and rates
- otservers.online: live status API with player counts per server
- ots-list.org: a second community list, used to cross-check player counts
- otarchive.com: server metadata and upcoming launches
How often it refreshes
Live data is collected once an hour. Each server page also keeps a history of its player count, so you can see whether a server is growing, stable or emptying out before you commit to it.
Catching inflated player counts
A server that appears on more than one list is cross-checked. When the counts disagree badly, or a server reports far more players than its peak history supports, its reliability score drops. The score also weighs uptime, how long the server has been tracked and how complete its information is.
Sorting and filters
You can re-sort the list by peak players, uptime, experience rate or client version, and filter by version (7.4, 7.6, 8.6, 10.x, 12.x, 13.x and newer), PvP type, rate and hosting country. Every filter also has its own page, for example Tibia 7.6 servers or low rate servers.
Independence
TibiaServers is a fan project and is not affiliated with CipSoft GmbH, the maker of Tibia. Sponsored placements are always labelled as sponsored and never change a server's rank in the list.
